We have been developing a LOT on MyFlickbook over the past few weeks and it's already been a month since our last update. So here is what has been accomplished since the last update.

Friends System
If you are thinking the friends system for MyFB was going to resemble that of Play Reviews then you are horribly wrong. This system far surpasses Play Reviews in the fact that you now need permission to add someone to your friends list. It works much the same as on Facebook.

Diaries
Diaries are not something that members can directly control. Diaries are pretty much just the actions that you have made recently. If you watched a movie, bought a movie, wrote a review, rated something, or confirmed a new friend your diary will let you know. It's a system that ONLY collects data from entries into the database, which means you can't control it. For Instance this is the diary entry that you receive if you collected the movie 28 Days Later...:

"I bought the movie 28 Days Later... today, I really hope it's a good one!"

It's an interesting concept that we found from Popomundo.com, and we think you will really enjoy it.

Rankings
We now have rankings associated with members, movies, and soon to be for crew. These ranks are based solely on the points accumulated (See Below).

Points System
We created a comprehensive points system that takes into account different aspects of the site. For certain actions you receive points that are then associated with your account. These points are only used for rankings at the moment, but we hope to let you "buy" on site stuff with them at some point.

We will not however disclose what will get you points and how much, but we will tell you that the more active you are the more points you will receive.

Right now the points are updated every even hour, but we might change it to be longer than this.

Just Watched
This feature we actually just got up and running last night, we are not finished with it, but we thought it was worth mentioning since it does insert into the database and into your diaries.

Various Admin Controls
Some boring admin stuff that you probably don't need to worry about, but it's stuff like turning registrations or ads on and off.
